ive been tracking down grounds, cleaning and replacing them, when i brake at red lights and put a brake load on the engine the rpms drop to 400-500 causing the engine to run rough at idle but at rps high than 1000 the vehicle runs normal. is there any know ground to go bad on lancers that have been a common problem. any input will help thanks in advance.
Sidenote it gets worse when the headlights are on.
you can make a quick, extra good ground by connecting jumper cables from your negative battery terminal to your engine block, and another from the negative batter terminal to the chassis.
That said, i don’t think this sounds like a grounding problem.
idk about a grounding problem, but last time my car acted shitty at idle when it was wet with a load on the alternator, and or not wet with a load on the alternator, it was, the alternator =p
