I have an old door opener at my shop that somehow is closing the door less and less the more I use it.It seems to be working fine otherwise. There is about a one to two inch gap at the bottom opf the door when it closes.

this shuld be easy to fix, there should be limit adjustments on the unit itself. Get a ladder and take a look, should be an adjustment for the amount of force needed to lower and raise the door, as well as how far it closes and raises.
Thanks, I’ll take a look tomorrow. We had some work done to the door a while ago and the guy doing it said it was a really old unit and the “new” guys wouldn’t know what to do with it. He was working on it for a while before he got it right.
