Impossible task to open door

I need some help with opening a ford explorers passengers door?

The door is closed and wont open no matter what i try. It is a rod type system with power locks. The power locks wont work, The handle from out side and inside doesn’t work, and the manual lock from inside wont work.

I am hoping for someone to talk me threw unlocking a door with a rod type system that knows how to do it with out screwing anything up. I know 240sx have the same type of locking the doors.

I was thinking on removing the door panel to gain access, but you cant remove the panel with the door closed. There are screws in places you cant reach.

front fendor and then door hinges…maybe then u could shimmy it and gain sopme access to those screws u need to get undone

thats quite the perdicament. It might be possible the locking system has because dislocated from where it needs to be. Best bet take it to a garage and see what they say.

Is it possibly due to the cold?? Might just need to sit in a heated garage for a few hours to warm up. What about a slim-jim?
