Just wondering if anyone knows an easy way to do this. I tried removing it earlier but it was hard for me to access the wires to disconnect the power lock stuff.
I tried pulling out the handle itself but it won’t come out far enough to get the lock out.
Help a noob out?
But seriously. Did you take the door panel off and unhook everything from the inside?
I removed the two 10mm nuts holding the handle on and unscrewed the lock itself but I was unsure of how to disconnect the (alarm/powerlock?) wire that is connected to the lock. All that stuff looked really loose and with the limited space between the window and the metal part of the door I don’t see how I’d be able to plug that stuff back in even if I got the lock out.
