My driverside door lock doesn’t unlock with the key so i would like to change the over the passenger side locks has anyone done this before? how would i reomve the mechanisim? and also what size screw is the antenna? i can’t seem to get it out or even see what fits because you need to put ur hands in between the fender in the hatch…help please … :?
The passenger side door lock, as far as I can remember is unique in its orientation and won’t swap over to the drivers side.
The power anteana is removed by unscrewing the silver top plate with the 2 notches in it, you’ll need either a special set of pliers or a generic pipe wrench to do it. the wrench tends to muck it up tho.
someone told me u can but lock and unlock is just reversed…or is it specific to each individual car?
so i just turn the rubber piece on the outside of the fender and it should come off? or did you mean in betweent he fenders?
