How do I swap door locks?

Swapping doors, want to use current lock on new door.
Anyone?

oh man, its not fun.

You have to remove the whole handle.

It’s in the FSM somewere IIRC.

I did it years ago to my 1st car.

There’s a C clip holding the rod on the back of the lock cylinder, and another spring clip that holds the lock into the handle.
Theres 2 nuts (I think) that hold the handle in the door. You don’t need to take the handle right out, but if you get it loose it’s a lot easier.
