Anyone have the Front Wheel Bearing Puller/Adapter with ABS Adapter for the MKIV? PM me…
Ive always used a slide hammer then cut off the inner race with a cut off tool didnt know there was a special tool???
Sent you a PM
returned… not sure if it will work for you… I should go look at my car and see if it would but my dad has it till tomarrow.
i just quoted and replied to you on vortex hahaha!
lets see if some one on here will correct me.
But looking at the pic you sent me of the “proper” tool (remember this is coming from a guy who drove his car home from Jamestown using a ratchet strap to hold the motor in place)

is when you get it down to that in the pic. you bolt the Slide hammer to the hub using the wheel bolts
(or another bolt of the same size if you fear damaging them) and go at it till it pops off.
the ABS ring and front half of the hub will come off.
then cut a slit into the bearing race thats left on the back half of the hub and stretch it out till it comes off the hub.
to get the other half out of the front hub set it on something or put in bench vise,
and smack a socket in till the other half of the bearing comes out.
then install the new bearing and use the axel bolt to press it back on.
this is exactly what we did for my wheel bearing. it worked nicely.
