Yeah, Friday night at a lounge sounds like a good way to unwind. I’m getting too old for the club scene…
Oh man did that ever backfire. I forgot there was another person named D.ave on the site!
So clubs are out of the question, list off some good lounges were we can drink, but also shat and bs.

Was thinking of the Jasper Ave location. They have a room in the back that can be used for parties and such I think. Plus my buddy works there, and knows the GM very well, so there may be a possibility that we could have some sort of discount for the number of people there.
Now the number of people ties into whether or not we want to have members only or not. If we have “everyone” welcome, then there is obviously going to be more people, and then we may have discounts off of the bills. So I’m not sure what to do.
Plus, since everyone is paying for themselves, as discussed in the last meeting (because we’re saving for a not-for-profit licence, feel free to bring a guest.
We’ll have to hold another vote. I’ll post one tonight.

I guess it’s safe to say it is. Judging by the majority of votes as well as what it says on our home page its on the 17th. Now we just need to vote on a place. 
Actually now that I come to think of it Joey’s on the south side just off Calgary Trail is an awesome lounge!
We want to try and keep it central
Plus, being on a friday night, that lounge is usually packed, and tables are separted with no room for large groups.
