The only concern I have in discerning an engine choice is front end weight. Old american v8s were boat anchors, but these are ignorant opinions of yesteryear
There are v6s that are as compact as our KAs… The same goes for v8s…
It’s really childish to argue back and forth 4cylinder vs 8cylinder. The later will obviously deliver a better powerband, power, etc… The only concern is added weight and weight distribution in any setup.
But anyways it doesn’t matter what you prefer, the way gas prices are going not many people are going to be able to afford V8’s just based on the fuel consumption alone.
Nothing beats the sound or fun of V8, but when it comes down to reality… I would take a turbo 4. Tho the ecoboost F-150’s are fun! Can’t wait for the Focus ST and Fiesta ST (I work at a Ford dealership lol)
Well the power some are making with 4 bangers, they gargle alot more fuel than a modern day v8 or are comparable. And for the amount of power the v8 makes… well…
With highway driving on v8silviaforums ppl reported 30mpg with a t56… that’s not too shabby… i mean i get the same in my ka24de… so… and i know ka-t drink fuel like dehydrated hoes, 8mpg-15mpg? ya…
