When I was home for lunch it got really dark with some thunder here in Amherst. I looked at the radar and said, “damn, south towns must be getting hammered”. Little did I know how right I was.

Exciting weather stuff!
I was working in East aurora around 12:30pm, getting lunch at mcdonalds and people started saying tornado warning, my work phone went off and said to seek shelter.
I drove my ass up Seneca towards elma/transit road, crazy down pour and thunder. I downloaded the weather channel app to try to get a view of the radar, it did say 7 miles south of east aurora, so I got worried lol. Then I found out it hit in hamburg.
Crazy. Poor GTI…
