So I got into a discussion about this the other day. I was wondering, and this does not apply to all states, but why is prostitution illegal, but making a porno is not?
similarities:
- either way you are having sex with a random person every time.
- either way the person having sex is getting paid for it.
Differences:
- with prostitution you are not sure if the people having sex are carrying any sexually transmitted diseases.
- porno, you usually have a contract and its being filmed.
obviously there are move differences and similarities, but at this time i am to tired to think of all the things we went over.
so why is it that the government wont let prostitution be legal. why don’t they just regulate what goes on with prostitution.
for example. why not make it so that there is set places to go to for prostitution. you have the prostitute take tests regularly to find if they have contracted a sexually transmitted disease. 2. the person that is paying for the prostitute should have a recent copy of his test results to prove he is clean as well. 3. the government could then start taxing places like this to get more money back instead of missing out on all the money that is there from it being illegal. there are other things as well that would make this work.
what are your thoughts to this? there is much more that we had gone over, but i was wondering where everyone sat on this.
keep in mind, you should be able to have the choice of mind with what you do with your body and who you decide to have sex with. not the government.
