amen, some of my favorite people are gay/lesbians, and theyre a hell of a lot nicer to be around than most straight people. granted i have things about homosexuality and transgender that bother me, like when its just way too flaunted, but majority of the time i havd no issue with them, and the question about abandoning a child over them being gay is very valid and im glad DeathbyRT brought that in

Some people need to realize that feeling like you should be the opposite sex isn’t something you can just snap out of. It has a lot to do with hormones/genetics/and what happens during pregnancy. It’s also not like these people just decided they were born the wrong sex. To go through this process they have to go through years of therapy,hormone therapy and surgeries on top of the abuse they suffer from ignorant people. If it makes them happy, so what?
All I know is if my child was unhappy with themselves and their body and the only thing that would make them happy as a sex change, i’d be all for it. I would not disown them anyway or tell them to leave my home, etc. It’s your own flesh and blood for fucks sake.

Actually I don’t, but i’m not going to jump the gun and bring up all these opinions on someone just based on what sex they are or may have been. Theres a lot more to a person than whats between their legs. Take some time to talk to a person and see what their personality is like before you jump to such harsh conclusions.
