the car they used 90% of the time in the movie

the paint on the car would probably cost you $5k alone, cars are so easy to build from behind a keyboard.

But in reality, on an old car everything adds up fast, unless you’ve restored an old car you don’t really know. little shit like window seals, dash, carpet, suspension components.

Old cars get expensive to make nice because you end up replacing everything.

Nope, because the old school muscle car “everything has to be like 1960” assholes are the reason the new GTO died. “waaa waaa waaa… it doesn’t look like some ugly old brick muscle car waaa waaa waaa” and pissing them off would make me happy.

:word:

i agree with CT on the price to build a car like this.

i really like it though, would love to have something different like that one day.

it’s not a restoration.

its a car from a movie.

w/e.

ok, now that I’m home and can actually see the eBay page -

Recently the car was taken back to the shop. The engine was completely rebuilt and all the little details - such as new carpet, adding power front windows, replacing mirrors, etc. - that movie cars sometimes overlook were taken care of. The car drives very nicely.

NOW, yes, I could see it costing what they’re prolly expecting.

My bad.

that poor mustang. ugh, blasphemy!

shitty turbo

It’s a good price.
