This is 30-year-old Gurcharn Sahota. He runs a car washing business out of his parents’ garage. Now, before you start laughing and calling him a failure, consider this: He regularly charges up to $11,000 to clean a single car. Here’s how.
Sahota specializes in cleaning high-end cars—the kind most of us can only dream of owning—and he does it incredibly well. Sometimes he’ll work for up to 250 hours on a single car and use gear such as a kit of 100 cleaning solutions, a microscope, wax priced at over $12,000 per tub, and a special paint gauge to leave cars perfectly spotless.
It’s fascinating to listen to Sahota talk about his work mostly because I only spend a handful of quarters each time I clean my own car, but also because I’d never considered car washing to be a high tech art. [SWNS]

Wow. Yea, so he basically talks about his cool paint meter, and the fact it takes 250 hours to do corrective detail? No way in hell it takes that long. Asshat appears to be using a random orbital as well, and spending $10,000 for Carnuba wax is borderline retarded.
I mean, extensive full paint correction on a botched car… 60-80 hours I can see… but $11,000 to detail a Lambo with paint that probably isn’t that bad? GTFO.
anyone notice he was running the buffing pad against the leading edge of the car, not off it? Thus creating excess heat, takign away more material at the body edge.
fact, kramer Lambo detail parked next to this guy lambo detail… nika aint gunna tell the difference
ahahah thats sick, but yeah he makes good money because he doesnt spend that kinda money on wax bud
thats not 11 grand in usd thats 11grand in pounds, or at least it was 8 grand in british pounds for the wax he claims… so assuming he stays with the same currency for the price of the detail hes making a wee bit more than 44 an hour usd
It’s sort of like how our government operates. A lot of costly, unnecessary work to achieve the same results as something the average person can afford.
