Actually the straight away rant is in regards to the squids who take turns with the bikes nearly upright, and then once the road gets straight, feel the need to hit 150+MPH thinking their hot shit on their motorcycles.
Never did I say I have to get ridiculously low on the street to pass or keep up with riders in turns. Most “riders” can’t ride bikes for shit. Half of them probably can’t even tell you what counter steering means.
I know many people who don’t even ride motorcycles on the street, they strictly ride track-only … because riding on the street in general is reckless. I personally ride well within my means on the street. These NY streets aren’t maintained well enough for me to do aggressive riding. That’s not to say I don’t do spirited riding, but I think it’s safe to say we all enjoy those.
