You know you live in Alberta when...

you hit dead moose road kill on the highway!

ripped those centre section supports (not rad support) off at the weld

you can’t see it well from the pictures, but the fender was pushed from the inside and is now toast

dented up the stock sidemount intercooler…this i dont’ really care about

mmmm moose blood on the windsheild somehow

WARNING- next picture is a little gross, moose guts on the undercarriage

at least there was no frame damage

for hitting a dead moose that was almost the damn size of my car the damages are actually quite minimal…needs new front bumper and passenger fender and those bumper center support things and its good to go…just kind of sad that this was the last 10 minutes that i drove my car this year

oh and incase anyone is curious…there was no damage to the oil pan or anything…those oil stains are from my neighbor’s pos van

hey our cars look the same now i have the exact same damages but oposite sides haha

the “spotting” in your thread of your car in the riverbend area was actually me :stuck_out_tongue:

if any one asks say it is drift damage

i wish it was! i could maybe get away with a story about a tandem battle with a moose and he spun out or something

I’m surprised that’s all it did. :o

x2. I worked at a wrecker where I was cutting apart a Matrix that had been a Moose caused double fatality. It was 3 months old when I got to it and I was still picking moose bits out of the cabin before cutting it apart…

i hit dead moose roadkill…somebody had already hit it and decided to leave it there i guess. there was no sign anywhere of the vehicle that had initially hit it

Still though, a dead moose on the road would be like hitting a Geo Metro.

origin reinforces their bumpers with steel maybe? haha i swerved out of the way i guess it was just enough…

Twas a baby moose, or a moose that was pre-flattened by a semi.

i didn’t really have the time to inspect it while i was heading at it doing 100-110 but judging by the amount of blood on the road it must’ve been pre-flattened by a semi

That’s what I told everyone with mine…I hit a taxi going sideways, “I saw a video where a dude was drifting in Japan and had a near miss with another car, I tried that and I actually hit it…”

The piece you bent is the headlight bracket…just use zipties…at least you’re fender isn’t as messed up as mine…

the piece is all bent and mangled…there is no saving it

how did u not see a moose live or dead on the high way

i knew someone was going to ask…

iwas following a truck that was about 10 legths ahead of me…at 1 in the morning no high beams
truck infront didn’t swerve or anything and i seen it at the last second thats why the damage is only on the left side

so did you roll over it or it kind of just bounced off to the side?

LIES! you were probably chasing it!
