I’ve hung with an F355 at 170km/h and it’s audible for more than 1 kilometre. The shifts are really distinct…and the sound of the exhaust bounces off the concrete highway barriers beautifully…

Sitting in the rumble seat at a light idling all lumpy and shit… listening to each bank fire back and forth… then opening her right up.
That one is sweet, but the '32 ford victoria with the model B 4 banger with overhead valve conversion and headers with a cutout is also a very distinct and meatty sound.
