Not true and not nice to say…
1989 oldsmobile 88 royale brougham, only had 19k miles, kindof miss it.
My first car was a 77 Trans Am. I traded a street bike for the TA and some cash. It had a Pontiac 400, but I drove it from California to Arizona, to Texas and then finally home to Mckeesport via Long Island New York.
When I pulled in the alley i heard a funny noise from under the hood. the vacuum from the tranny went bad and all the tranny fluid got sucked through the carb. Toasted the engine. I found a 455 + trans in a 73 Grand Prix that worked very nicely. Used to race on the Triboro expressway on weekends. What fun…
My second car was a 77 Monza with a chevy 350 and a 4 speed. That little bastard would haul serious ass!
77 Trans Am… You’re old like me… :blue:

77 Trans Am… You’re old like me…

I got the TA in 1988 and I was 17. Somewhere, I have a really photo of the car in the middle of the desert on the Arizona/Mexico border.
87 volvo station wagon. 4cyl, non turbo, 5 speed
I am 33… But my point was… many folks on here think an old car is a 1995…
