Man I Miss My...

Was just thinking about some older cars I wish I still had and figured it’d be cool to see peoples past cars.

My two are my 1969 GTO and my “terminated” mustang.

1969 GTO
-70k miles
-Judge Clone
-429/th400
-My very first car

2000 Cobra Swapped Mustang
-13k miles on the drivetrain/-interior
-453rwhp
And the best part was that I only had $3000 in the car.

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

I had a 1981 Trans Am. I was driving home from Virginia when a third of the way home the rear main seal blew out and a good majority of the oil leaked out. By the time I got it pulled over a couple pushrods were bent, had to to tow it the rest of the way. The car belongs to my dad now. He took out the 301 and dropped in a 350 chevy. Funny hting is I was driving home that weekend to buy a car. A 1977 Corvette, which I I do miss the Trans Am sometimes, even with all it’s faults.

I miss my old 1989 GMC S-15 the most, I used to go wheeling almost every day in that thing.

I had a 1992 Taurus SHO, but that POS was broke more than it ran. I loved that car when I had it but looking back, it sucked.

1991 GMc sonoma. first truck i pretty much redid. but was also most fun daily i had. 4.3 5spd 2wd posi. . drove it for few years.

I miss my

Thunderbird SC

^^^ Not mine, but same color.

Much like Taurus SHO’s, it was broke more than it ran, but it was a fun highway cruiser.

I still own my two favorite cars…so it is hard to miss any of my old cars. I guess I can say my 83 s-10 pickup that only cost me $700, ran great and was nice to have around for odds and ends…but it kinda sucked b/c it seemed like every month I was helping someone move something.

1972 roadrunner
Man I miss that car. It wasn’t really all that fast but it had so much attitude
When I was in high school it was legendary. Doin’ donuts in the school parking lot, Ratt blaring from the Jensens. A chick with big hair in the seat next to me. My mullet floating in the breeze…

that car met its end parked in front of my work at the hands of a little old lady in a caprice wagon. She plowed into it right at the a pillar. When it was done all she could say was " Oh, well thats why we have insurance"

82 buick regal sport coupe. First car i owned and just happend to be v6 turbo. I had no idea what it was at the time. Motor spun a bearing and later became a dirttrack car :(…dont have any pics on the net of it and this is closest to the car i could find. One of these i plan to own another turbo regal

i miss both my ws6 and c4 vette. had alot of fun in both cars, the ws6 ran good w/ the motor work. i miss having a rwd v8 in general, but i like my current car alot too. im more excited for future purchases than i am for cars i let go though.

my first car (87 Cutlass Ciera Iron duke)took all i could dish out but i wouldnt say i miss it because of the car that replaced it… I miss my 88 Cutlass Supreme Classic. most of you know it was stolen…etc… that car was my baby. i think i made out in the long run but i’ll always want it back.

I miss my 85 monte SC it was a lemon but a great car. clean on the inside and out almost no rust. it hita tree at 50 mph and turned into a parts car / dirt track shell.
and of course my 00 trans am WS6 bent frame bad motor bad tranny. Overall i just beat the car way beyond what it was intended for and then some.

I think moving forward that i will appreciate and enjoy a car alot more when im older and have gone through some pretty bad cars. Ive been spoiling myself the last few years.

One of them is my 1969 Ford F-100 lot of time money and memories left with that truck

BIG BODY RAM UH!!!

u know u woulda fixed the SC but u let the cops scare u! but thanks for the dash and seats! haha

1992 Plymouth Laser Turbo. Probably one of the cleanest original first gen DSM’s I have ever seen. Traded it straight up for my GSR which is now gone as well.

1969 Ford Torino 428CJ. It was a 4 speed with the factory functional ram air. It wasn’t a classic back in 1975 when i had it. Looked like this one, but it was in a color called “gulfstream aqua”. It had the stock quiet exhaust and was a real sleeper.

My 69 Camaro. It was slow, but looked good.

My 94 Z28, which i can’t find a picture of at the moment. Money issues forced me to sell it, and i miss it.

:yum:

1969 Dodge Charger Red/black top & interior - 440 magnum/torquflite/3.55s. North Carolina car with no rust. This car just needed some TLC.

2004 GTO Silver/Red interior 6 speed - bought new, traded in for family car after 1 year.

1978 Pontiac GP factory manual trans car - had 400sbc/T56/9" rear with 3.89’s & 16" Formula wheels - after it was a DD for 8-9 years, I sold the motor/rearend & then the shell became a dirt track car. I ran a T5 5 speed in it for most of the time. The T56 is currently in my truck. This car only ran 13.90s but it was a blast to drive. I got rid of it about 10 years ago. If the body would have been a little nicer, I would still have it. The floors were rotted. I put a complete floor in it, but me & a friend did a half ass job & I knew it would never be right. I will own another Gbody some day…It will have an LSx/T56 in it though.

1992 GMC Typhoon Red/Charcoal - super clean, low miles

1968 Firebird drag car - not street legal

1998 Subaru 2.5RS - fun little car & took alot of abuse.

Here is a pic of my truck .
