I havent installed the rotors/calipers yet, but I beleive this setup will not fit with the stock 91 240sx 7 spoke wheels. What size of spacers would work with this, without having to upgrade my wheels?
Ill make your life easy, if you have 26mm calipers they will clear the 7 spokes, if you have 30mm calipers they will not. You need atleast a 5mm spacer if you have the 30mm’s. You should also consider longer studs to be on the safe side.
If only it was that easy. There are two different casts of the 7 spoke rim. One will clear one will not. If you have a single spoke support on the back side of the rim you are in the clear, if you have a double spoke support you will need spacers.
Just to further clarify Hurricane’s cogent insight, this applies only to the 26mm calipers. Clearing the 30mm’s always requires a spacer.
He said his car was a 91 so im assuming all 91 7 spoke rims are the same. I have a set of 7 spokes off of a 91 that clear the 26mm calipers.
Year / Model make NO differeance in which rims you get. For instance my car came with 3 of one cast and 1 of the other cast. You can’t base it on Year or Model.
