Z owner here!

Hello, thought I’d introduce myself. My name is Mike, I own a '84 300ZX NA2TURBO (currently building a VG33ET for it), and a '74 260Z with triple webers and such, building a L28 with ~10.4:1 compression for it. My daily is just a slow 92 D21 Hardbody with a KA24E, 4WD, and a 5 speed. lol

My cars aren’t pretty to look at right now, but I bet some of you recognize the 260Z. I bought it for $1000, found out the engine was siezed up and such, but its not a big deal. Going to be ordering floors and frame rails for it soon because it needs some patch work.

Once it warms up some I’ll be finishing the body work and paint on both of them, Z31 is pretty much all set just needs paint…and the S30 doesn’t need too much either at this point.

Welcome

Thanks. VG Power? lol

Welcome to the board!

Better. Welcome!!!

Welcome, s30s are awesome, so are triples, except when they catch fire.

Yep, VG30DETT

They’re good engines  I considered swapping to a DE, but the SOHC is just as capable, all the DE internals (bottom end) work in the SOHC, and the SOHC takes up less room…so I decided to just build a VG33, and if I decide to do forged pistons and such I’ll get some made custom. Downsides we have are poor head flow, and the lubrication system isnt too great for much over 7,000rpm.
