Nah not really, SVT did have some input on the car but wasnt soley them. And yes that interior is a little bland, but being as Shelby did it he wanted to stick to his roots, and that he did, no frills fast car. Nothing it doesnt need, i.e a flashy interior lol
go look at a new m3. i’d still take the m3 over the vette… cool its faster but i think a new m3 is more of a statment then a z06. well, maybe i’m just a german car fanboi.
None, the only one from ford that comes close is the FR500 that runs 11.85 in the quater, that does not mean the (Shelby GT500 SS, or the steeda Q650 couldnt but they are also not straight from fords factorys either…)
wrong, the GT500 has gone 11.7@119 stock. Not sure what the time are for the new viper but im pretty sure time for the Z06 is 11.7 as well
theres plenty of factory fast and well handling mustangs just you clowns wouldnt know cause you stick to your fanboi german cars and what not
The GT500 in regards to ET/TRAP is not even in the ball park as the new Viper/C6 Z06. Not sure about the Viper but it should be similiar to C6 which is LOW 11s/HIGH 10s potential.
Well once again its 4000lbs and tens of thousands cheaper. And low 11’s high 10’s are not achieved on stock components.
And put a mere 5K into the shelby and you will have 700rwhp+ and run 10.50’s or better all day long.
bone stock Z06 went 10.9 and on DR’s it went 10.8…so they are on stock components
do the same thing to a Z06 and your in the 9’s

Correct, DR isn’t stock but I believe it did go HIGH 10s but 100% positive on the low 11s. (11.2 at least).
Z06 has not gone 10.9 on street tires, that was on dr’s.
Dollar for Dollar the shelby is a better deal and a easier platform for modifying. 5K will get you headers and full exhaust maybe on a Z06
Yea but you also have a starting price of ~$20k more. So put $25k into the mustang and see where you’re at.
I am pretty sure a Z06 has gone 10.9 BONE STOCK, meaning street tires. They then put DR’s on and it went 10.8.
5k will get you a nitrous kit and the full exhaust and that will put it in the 9’s

Idk man thats really hard to believe, i could post a timeslip of a Gt that said 10.49 and say it was on street tires, need proof, video somethin.
How’s it hard to believe though? it’s BARELY 10’s w/ a 10.98…but 10’s none the less
And the new Z06’s dont like the spray too much, a buddy of mine blew his on a 100 shot!!! Its hard to believ that it went 10.90 on streets and only picked up .1 from a set of sticky drag radials, sounds fishy to me.
