Another step taken care of, got a windshield installed today. Never have I seen such clear glass in a vehicle. Finally I can take the car outside and wash her. Wow it is dusty looking with a flash.

My NEW intake manifold. I decided to do some more metal work and have now started on both an intake manifold aswell as turbo headers made from 316 stainless. I have a few pic of the progress as of now I hope to have the water jet cut flanges from the shop next week so I can start welding. Not too many people make this stuff for my car and if they do it is custom so finding ideas took a bit of work.
Are those prices all in US$, CDN$, or a mix? And is that a mix of new and used parts, all used, or all new? Some of those prices seem unbelievably cheap.

I could be wrong but my understanding was that its HOT coolant that runs through the throttle body to help prevent icing that could cause the butterfly to stick (a rare unlikely scenario, but that’s besides the point), and that’s the only reason I know of for it being there.
So in theory, deleting these lines to the TB should free up a couple horsepower, directionally.
Just a few items I was curious about:

rods…100 (used oem? that seems fairly cheap).
intercooler…300 (holy crap… CDN$? thats so cheap)

turbonetics gt35r…1250 (US$ or CDN$? New or used? Damn that’s cheap… and you only need to buy ONE. Lucky SOB)
injectors…275 (what? what brand? new? I’m looking at ~$750 USD minimum for a set of 6 nismo injectors 555+)

rad…300 (CDN or US? My new Koyo was a little over $300 USD)

exhaust…250 cdn, mandrel bent turbo back with muffler.I am a welder and the shop I work at got me cost on the piping.
LSD…I got from a silvia…yeah i remember selling you the r230…You remember when I told you I was going to do up my z31…probably thought oh another kid…

I’d like to see how that intake manifold works out and if you can fit it under the stock hood. Are you mounting the throttle body right on the end of it and what kind of tb are you using?
Does this mean you might be willing to sell your pathfinder manifold?
I will be putting a slight bend onto the end of the manifold, I am probably going to use a 90mm q45 tb. I am selling the pathfinder manifold if anyone is interested. I don’t want nitrous as of now, we will see when it is all put together. I don’t think it will be necessary though. Also, my intake manifold sits lower than the pathfinder manifold, and sits right in the cowl of the hood, so clearance will be better than it was with the pathfinder manifold.

I have it listed on 300zxclub.com for $200us shipped but I am willing to sell to you guys for a bit less. If none of you take it I will have to sell to the other forum members (there have been several offers).
What did it take to get the Silvia LSD in there? Was it a bolt in replacement?
The diff housing is not, but the actual diff carrier is. I installed it into my housing and used the stock axles.
I know the housing isn’t, but if the carrier bolts right in and takes the stock axles I am a happy man. Hopefully I can get something shipped over from Japan for cheap. :E
