Please read the following “Onyx Syndicate Trackday Handbook” and sign the last page. You won’t be allowed on track if you have not read and signed it! Also, pay close attention to the rules - there have been some important changes!

Right Click, Save As HERE - Onyx Syndicate Track Day Handbook (Adobe PDF)

* The handbook is focused toward our bi-weekly track days, but the principles will be the same for this event. Disregard the times in the PDF.

Cost:

$20 for admission & food IF paid before May 10th. After May 10th or at-the-door, $25. (You may ONLY pay at the door if you’ve pre-registered to do so. See info HERE)
$100 for admission, food and at least 4 30 minute track sessions + Open track time

Break Down:

  • Lunch will be sometime between 1pm and 2pm.
  • Bottled drinks will be sold at the event
  • Beginner drivers will be able to have the advanced drivers ride-along with them during their sessions.
  • Track time will be broken down as follows:

11:00am to 11:30am - Group A
11:30am to 12:00pm - Group B
12:00pm to 12:30pm - Group A
12:30pm to 1:00pm - Group B
1:00pm to 2:00pm - Lunch and Drift Session w/ S1DC
2:00pm to 6:30pm - OPEN TRACK
6:30pm to close - Drift Demo (S1DC & approved drivers)

*Times may be adjusted during the day for track cleanup or other issues

During the scheduled lunch break the guys from S1DC will be joining us to tear up the track for some drift practice and exhibition. This is NOT open track time and is restricted to approved drivers. Regular track operation will proceed at 2pm after lunch. In the meantime, sit back, enjoy the tire smoke, and try and snag a ride in a drift car for an entirely different approach to a corner.

Unlike BBQ meets of the past, this will be the first one where you’ll be able to not only hang out and talk cars, but you’ll be able to really drive them as well!

hell yeah I’d like to drive and eat  looks like an absolute blast.

I don’t really have much in the way of ideas for that last chunk of time but I’ll think on it…

I need to get my passport, as soon as I send out for that, I will say I’ll be there.

According to customs you ONLY need a drivers license and birth certificate till mid summer!

If you’ve lost your birth certificate, a copy is only $15.

I am creating the site for registration and payment right now, I hope to have it all put together and tested out by the end of the night!

Last leg of event… $10 per driver, fastest lap takes all.

hopefully suspension will be in if not stock is still fun

would there be a class system for the cars, so that the results can be handicapped?

I thought part of their insurance deal was no timing?

I vote for raw time only. No classing

i will be there. not sure if i will have the m3 done by then, but hopefully.

Same thing as PCA DE’s Dave, no “official” timing. It will not be provided by the track if it is even made available at all.

In - Driving

its on like donkey kong (thank god for a short track heheheh)

Last two hours, letting me practice some drifting? haha

sounds like a good time, I’ll plan on going, and driving

I should be in to go but not drive. Ill double check my calander

They’re not allowed to have wheel-to-wheel racing there, but timing is fine.

I wanna see that too, but we need a timing system… and we’re working on it

From some Toronto rennlist guys:

Yeah and that passport shit won’t happen.

I will be there.
