sorry… (I honestly just called a couple people).
Was kinda last minute was there from 8am - 6:30pm, pics soon. Ran with Porsche Club of Ontario and S1DC (morning and afternoon).
Okaayyyyyyy, in the morning we ran with some Porsche club of Ontario guys and some random others, organized by Derek. Had a blast, but had some issues with the touring (getting used to a new shifter and having trouble with the tires) had my days of thunder moment but had some issues (I need a heavier weight oil, which will be done in the morning). So nothing major. I was a touch slower today, oh well. In the afternoon we ran with the S1DC drift guys and Dave let me take out his 350z and see how I well I could hold my own. I felt very good following Theo (black S14) and a White S13 around for a bunch of laps. Spent probably 30 minutes out working the RE050A PP’s to their extent till I heard one of them start to flap. I hate to admit it… but I actually enjoy sliding as much, if not more than regular track days. Everytime I go out, it’s a joy. Thanks again Dave (and get back to me on uhh you know tires…;))
Overall a fantastic day and a great “end” to the season. I may have to buy something japanese… everytime I go sliding I enjoy it more and more and I already have a track car…
Man, that looks like a blast. Mike, whenever you’re ready for a Jap car…let me know…
God, I can’t stop thinking about an FD track car.
