Looking for nice apartments near albany

I’m looking for apartments south of the mohawk and have been coming up short finding some that are reasonably priced and not completely scummy. Anyone on here have some suggestions or experience with anything in the area?

What price ranger? Harmony Mills is 2 minutes from Latham and fucking LEGIT! Everything included (electricity, cable, phone, washer and dryer ext) as well as an indoor pool, indoor parking with storage unit, gyms, library room and more!

I want to keep it under $1k with all utilities included. So that for latham is perfect. Start moving farther away from the city or with less utilities and I’d have to start knocking off $$.

I’ll look them up, thanks.

Think there rent is 1180 a month but dude its soo worth it!

I know a few people who live in Harmony Mills now and won’t be renewing. They’re not happy with the management in the building.

Harmony mills looks pretty baller, but it’s much more than I need.

Keep searching, find a place in colonie with a garage and off street parking. On street parking in Albany sucks, coming home and not being able to find a spot for a half hour.

I’ve lived in Uptown Albany for the last 7 years. Love it here. Came from Altamont. The best way to find a good place is to drive around looking for for rent signs or Craigslist. Familiarize yourself with the neighborhoods because a few blocks makes a difference. You should have no problem finding a place with off-street parking or a garage.

You get work around here?

I’m personally looking at these guys:

It’s like 1/4 miles (maybe even less) from where I work. I will have NO work commute or commute cost. Plus, if you know the area…there is:

Subway
Multiple beverage centers
Walmart
Lowes
Price Chopper
McDonalds
Wendys
Applebees
Chilis
Panera
Five Guys
Staples
Multiple gas stations
CVS
USPS
Banks
etc

Within walking distance or 2 minute car ride. PERFECT location.

10 minutes from downtown Albany.

That’s the place I have my sights set on.

right behind colonie center

i would highly recommend trying to stay in the tri-city rental group if you do an apartment, not only do i know the owners well. but it’s a bug company, if something breaks in the apartment, they are there the next day to fix it or replace it.

plus bill paying online for them is such an easy way to make rental payments

If you can hold off for 2 months, rent out my 2 bedroom apt. Plenty of parking, I’ll probably include all utilities (besides cable/Internet) for ~$775-800 a month. Located in colonie.

damn, that sounds almost perfect, but I need to be moved before January 27th.

Isn’t that 2 months?

Give or take a few days, yes.

Haha. You can move in when I hopefully close on the place and help me put down some new flooring. Lol

Sully, send me your phone number. This sounds like a great option, if you really need help with the place I can do that too, I’m technically unemployed until February.

I’ll pm you in a few minutes. For some reason, the bank told me closing could take up to 60 days. Fml

Avoid Harmony Mills. Yes it looks baller but that kind of money to live in Cohoes? Fuck that noise. I wouldnt live there if it was free.

You obviously have no clue what luxury is about lol… It’s not in the town town of cohoes, its secluded, it overlooks the falls which looks insane when looking out your window and you cant hear anything through two foot thick brick… Place is legit amazing and has so much value to it once you price what everything would cost individually… It ends up being cheaper then any shitty to normal apartment hes going to find…

$650 a month rent really equals about a grand when you include heat, electric, cable, internet and phone and lots of apartments dont even have washer/dryer hookups, the place has one in every unit… Then you have your own garage space, your own storage unit, bassiclly your own gym as no one is ever there, a pool/hot tub, a library room and a party room you can rent out at any time free of charge… And best part is they take pets.
