Going to work on the 427 taking my time as I’m early. I don’t drive close to trucks, but a truck on the opposite end of the highway lose its ice sheet off the top. Smashes my windsheild and could barely see. Pulled off where I could, Dixie Value Mall. On top of that I waited from 12-3 before a shop came to replace the damn windsheild!!! I’m so f’in pissed right now…

Nope, it was going the opposite direction on the highway, so the median blocked the plates nd it was a plain white furniture type delivery truck with no writing. I saw the sheets lift off and said “OH F$%^” hit the brakes but nothing I could do at that point.
man, sorry to hear that… Hopefully insurance covered that for you? I hope at least.

$500 deductible. I passed…Original windsheild installed $300 with warranty and they drove to where my car was and installed it there.

Wow… that’s really unfortunate. Sorry to hear about your ride, and also that you couldn’t get the truck info since he was going the other way… that kind of thing definitely needs to be reported.
Not sure where this will go, but I emailed CityNews about my story. Someone got back to me today and wants to hear more about it as he has other stories. Hopefully they can run some sort of story on this kind of crap to build some awarness or having something done. Sad thing is, the goverment may not do anything until some dies.

A cop car got smashed today from flying ice off a truck on the 407.
nice. now the authorities should notice how bad of a problem this is. i was playing dodgeball with the back of a truck last month on the 401. luckily the car handles pretty good and i was able to avoid the sheets.
