:picard:
newman i just keep thinking about the last time you traded in your sti on a daily and a lotus
Personally, I’d spend the extra dough on the GTI. The 5 cyl is pretty poor on fuel for what it is. The GTI has a better engine, better brakes, better seats, better transmission, and is a software flash away from being a ton of fun.
GL trying to find a manual trans GTI though. Word on the streets is that they are impossible to find.
hardley…new or used i could get one in a day or 2
But if i get a GTi, that gives off the impression that VWs are good for anything other than transportation.
that’s not a signal i want to send.
lol what an idiot
Two door and four door have the same cargo room and same exterior dimensions. Four door has a lot of nice little things though, like nicer seats, lumbar, arm rest etc.
and it’s easier to get stuff in and out of.
Truth, if you cant get it in its not coming whether or not there space for it inside LOL
better than a VW and can fit your drums. Only lesbian cops would pull you over to get your number.
i thought about a legacy wagon, but decided against it.
You’re afraid you’ll actually like the GTI.
I see a lot of older people buying GTIs too, they definitely are not aimed at the same demographics as the 1.8t vws.
Not its not :wiggle:
Not necessarily, sometimes it is easier on a two door because the doors are so freaking huge. The only reason I would’ve gotten a four door is if I was planning on regularly carrying people in the back. But I prefer the way two door looks, so I you like the four door better I can see why you’d get it - it has enough extra stuff to warrant extra money for sure. No manual though - that’s bizzzare - I didn’t think that was the case when I got mine…
BTW I paid like $300 under invoice for my 2 door in May, during the previous sign and drive.
Maybe in Buffalo? The dealership I bought my GTI at had at least a dozen of them when I got mine.
