My wife and I are looking at another car on Sunday, so by Monday, I will know for sure if we’re selling this. We bought it about 18 months ago, and it had a torn out subframe mount (LR) at the time. It was repaired using the Turner Motorsports kit. I’ve done all of the maintenance on this car, and it will be sold with a fresh synthetic oil change.

It has close to 150k miles on it. I’ll update this when I talk to my wife later.

Random list of stuff replaced:

  • shift boot and e-brake boot with Bimmian alcantara
  • carbon fiber shift knob
  • power steering pump
  • front driveshaft coupling and center support
  • EBC Green Stuff pads on front
  • serpentine belt pullies
  • Wheels: TSW Catalunya 18x8 with brand new General Exclaim UHP tires (tires less than 2k miles on them now)
  • K&N filter
  • clear corners, sidemarkers and updated rear lights
  • BMW rubber mats
  • original wheels with General snows mounted. 2 with 10/32nds of tread and 2 with 6/32nds
  • dent repair on driver’s door

likely a two-piece driveshaft

Nope. Meaning the rubber flex disc coupling between the driveshaft and transmission.

Thanks. The wheels, lights and grille were mostly a “just for the hell of it” gift for my wife. I brought it into the shop one day a few months ago, all stock looking, and brought it back home looking like the last pics. She loved it.

Really, the only thing worth selling off the car would be the wheel/tire package.

Feel free to shoot me an offer. Wheels typically run 220-240 each new on ebay, and tires cost me $100/each.

Although I wouldn’t jump on it right now, if the car doesn’t sell as-is within a week, I’ll part them out.

The car is now at my shop full time, if anyone would like to look at it.
