hey guys, im devon. ive been through a lot of shit, ups and downs with my car, and im just gonna cut to the chase. bought in july 2011, had typical headgasket leak, 97000 miles, 5spd, 02 bugeye. decided to go big and do cams and some headwork while the heads were off. lots of other goodies too in the mod lost.
Heres how she sat, day 1.

after a few weeks, some insurance, and some summer work money i was able to pick of this guy.
after a few more weeks, i finally got around to swapping the suspension, rims and tires, steering wheel, headlights, stereo, and a few other miscellaneous items. about a month after that, my buddy helped me pull the motor in my white car, and my new car, and put my built motor into my blue car. so now the blue car sits about the exact same as the white except for color, and short shifter and bushings i still need to swap. also, i sold the old motor, rims, and other stuff and just about broke even with what i had to spend out of pocket for her
all in all, its really shitty i lost the white car, but her heartbeat will live on, and ill just have to chalk it up on the board of mistakes, and learn from it.

also, while i do pay my own insurance, gas, and just about everything else, a huge shoutout goes out to my dad. i wouldnt have been able to do this without him, time hes put into helping me, supplies and tools at his shop, and just everything
