Why do the 2004 GTO’s seem so much slower than the camaros/firebirds? Are the Ls-1’s the same? Is the GTO that much heavier? How ‘mod’ freindly are the GTOs? I remember driving gray05’s pretty much bone stock SLP Camaro SS in uniontown that one night long ago. And it seemed leeps and bounds faster than the 04 GTO m6 i recently rode in.

its about 300lbs heavier then the fbuckets
I figured it would be heavier. Although 300lbs doesnt seem like it should slow it down that much.
