I’m not really going to get into details about the inspection, everyone knows that NY is a pain in the ass to get inspected. Just do some research, there are loopholes here and there.

There really isn’t any for an OBDII. Either it passes via it’s OBDII diagnostic port or it doesn’t. The control is out of your hands unless you find someone who will scan another car or take another inspection sticker from another car. All of which is frowned upon by NYS.

Yea, Seth called me last night and asked if I had ever worked on this particular Evo and said no. He said the car seemed to have no tip in enrichment and was wondering whether the TPS was activated or not in the AEM ems. That’s about where I left off with him. Knowing Seth he was there late last night with the car…

Yeah, Seth and I spent a fair amount of time talking about the car. There were a LOT of driveabilitiy issues that are currently being sorted out. From the sounds of it Josh will think he’s driving a totally different car when he picks this bad boy back up :giggedy

Update…car is making a boat load of power on the Moon MD…right now +70ish uncorrected whp over the most my 30R Evo IX ever made :wow :nod

I spoke with Seth yesterday and he said that car is making around 440whp on his mustang dyno and still needed some tweaks. I’m heading out in a little while to go pick it up. I’ll post up the dyno vid when I get back.

shooting for 600 and got 440? what happend

a friend of mine was tryin to get me to race him but it never happend.

this is 440 on his dyno, which i giuess reads really low. When I said i was shooting for 600whp, it was 600whp corrected, only because my original dyno numbers were corrected as well so that was just a generalization. I’m not too concerned with dyno numbers, I just hope it performs well at the track.

He put his car on Seth’s MD…that’s what happened. He’ll have to goto a Dynojet or back to The Shop to see the numbers compared to what he had before hand. 440whp on Seth’s dyno is a TON…I repeat TON of power. My Evo IX w/ the 30R and Meth made 369whp UNCORRECTED on Seth’s dyno…440whp UNCORRECTED is a HUGE number…my car was insanely fast at 369 off his dyno…I’m afraid to see an extra 70whp

I’ve never heard of a dyno that doesn’t read “low” :tong

mustang or not, thats over 100awhp lower than majority of the built 35R/ems evos on evom.
