Fuck the dynos. Let’s see the traps.
Didn’t Justin’s EVO make like 36X and it went 12X? I thought you were running cars in the 10X range?

:runaway :headbang
Benny. WTF. Did you just have a seizure?
I’m so sick of constantly seeing those fucking numbers :rofl
Poor Travis :lol
He took a beating when he adding like 35% to those #s from his NJ tuner.
My car never went 12’s after getting the 30r. You’re mistaken. It went 12.0 @ 113 on the stock turbo w/ just intake/exhaust/meth. It’s deep into the 11’s on the 30r. I’ll try to find Joe’s timeslip w/ the car from EvoM and post it.
I think by 12X he means trap speed.
Touche :ponder
I am referring to the trap speed which appear to be different between your car and Justin’s with similiar power on the same dyno?
I can easily just call Joe B, I talk to him all the time.
Tell him I’m going to park my STI in his driveway and leave with my Evo :crackup
I don’t think he’d fall for that one. Besides Joe just bought some new “stuff” for me to fabricate with and make this 30R car spool like it still has the 16G, so I know the car is not going anywhere anytime soon except right here in a bay. I’ll post more on that when the time comes to elaborate. Month or so maybe. Fuckers gonna need a tranny rebuild when I get done with it ;D
Hittin up the track tonight…I’m sure I’ll embarass myself seeing as this is the first time with the new setup lol. Hopefully I can pull some decent times outta this thing.
you better post times as soon as you get back. I may actually sign onto the forums from home to check ;D. Good luck!
Thanks! I’m not even setting expectations because I dont want to be disapointed with my times.
Set a reasonable goal and go for it. Disappointment occurs when you make assumptions on what is really not obtainable.
Well, seeing as this is the first time with this setup + tune, I’m expecting 12’s at first
Fair enough. If you can just roll out without bogging, you shouldn’t have any issue at all. Your traps will indicate your power and give you an idea on what you can expect in optimum conditions.
So, just got back from the track and I am beyond disapointed to say the least. My best time was a 13.06 @ 116mph. The car just fell on its face after every shift. No matter how fast or slow that I shifted there was a good 1/2 second delay. The car pulled real hard once it picked up but with the lag in between shift it sucked. And to top it off, I believe i fucked up my throwout bearing :headbang The clutch now grabs about 1/4" from the floor and its hard to get the car in gear unless the clutch is pressed as far down as it can go, I’ve had this exact problem before and it was the throwout bearing. Sorry for the rant…I’m just aggrivated.
