Anyway, Burch, get a real fuel pump (cough, cough, Supra pump)

044 is a better pump bitch… but I found more problems and the walbro may actually be ok afterall. The Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator had aluminum shavings in it from when Aeromotive made the lower portion and a piece was holding the fpr open causing the fuel pumps to work mega overtime to make 45psi. I also had to clean the pre filter to the fuel pump twice now as it was full of shit from when summit made the fuel cell. So after I take her to the track or dyno this week I will probably put the walbro back in.
Steve I could probably give ya a ride since I agreed to it last winter/ the last time the car drove into the garage.

except this year when the sock fell of the one, and it sucked up some random rubber that was at the bottom of my tank…?!? that was wierd. the gears in the pump were all jammed. that was junk

=) I would really really like that :party2:
I have not driven in a fast car since I was up there last, I am stuck with supercharged r32’s that go 0-60 by sunday… (besides my car is at my grandfathers,) GTI = Heavy = SLOW
It won’t be much of a shootout for a few reasons… stock evo motor with 35r and race gas is better than a stock 90 dsm motor with 35r and pump gas, I have only had a week to sort out tuning and problems, I am only going to run pump gas… 11’s are the best I’m expecting. Thanks for the invite but I was planning on going anyhow.
Mike you know this car isn’t getting anything fancy its gonna be stock next weekend…
Emery you and ProCar can duke it out. I think we all know what will happen considering the slow cars they put out run 8’s.
We’ll probably all be at NYIRP Sunday because that’s our local track, not because you called us out. You’ve had two years racing your car. I have under 10 passes on mine and Gary has none on his. If your car is the fastest so be it, but it won’t be a reflection of what the three shops have to offer so it’s no shop shootout.

I have to agree with this statement because that was what I was thinking. As far as shop glory and fame, you guys can all have it. I know what I can do and that’s all that matters to me. My work speaks for itself not who got the better 60 or how the track conditions were OR what part broke on garys car cause its a DSM (fingers croseed )etc. I would love to see gary run the car. I’m sure he will but as far as bragging rights the scales a little tipped right now. Thanks for the call out though I know you probably meant well but I just don’t care for the attention, I never have.
We didn’t get out at mighty because it’s a pain in the ass to get out with the belts, laptop, earmuffs Yes it is like sitting in a bass drum with the floor cut out in that thing.
