0w50 eneos oil and spark plug questions!!!!!

type car/engine: skyline r32 rb20det type m

hey i have always been using castrol gtx 10w-40 non-synthetic in my car just bought oil off a skyline shop called pur automotive its 0w-50 eneos nippon fully synthetic the owner says it will work good and give more power in my car and for me to only use it for the race track any pre-cautions or suggestions on this???------

i took out my stock sparkplugs the ones that were in there are ngk R pfr5a went to a&a auto parts got them to match me up with some and it was a special order spent 100$ for six those are: ngk laser platinum premium pfr5a-11 while i was at this skyline shop the guy also sold me spark plugs brand new for 30 bucksfor all six and said that these are the correct ones to use: ngk v-power resistor type spark plugs bkr7e

is this pur automotive guy correct and should i listen to him?

also when i took out my old park plugs i found a puddle of oil in the first two , i think this oil must of cam from a valve cover leak in the gasket

i not sure if its the same for rb20’s, but all of us SR20 guys, run the bkr7e’s, like 2-4$/ plug. Work awesome for track days, colder plug. With that said, search a rb20 specific forum with regards to what sparks they run, there is probably multiple threads about it.

ye the bkr7e’s are used on ka-t setups too, seem to be used by a lot of people from what i’ve seen on forums

If you’re getting your car tuned, you could ask your tuner what spark plugs to use.

As for oil, stock r32 gtst rb20det was nissan 7.5w30. For track use, I’ve seen people use 10w50, 15w50, 10w60, 20w50.

Nismo uses 15w50 competition oil for rb26dett, sr20det…should apply to rb20det too

Oil is really one of those things that is really personal preference.
