me and my friend are building a beater hatch and it’s just gonna have a completely gutted interior…d16y8 with stock internals and a 14b this year just wanna make it into the low 14’s and then we are gonna eventually build the motor a little bit and get a bigger turbo and hopefully be mid-high 12’s (20 year old in college this is just gonna be us searching for the cheapest parts and what not)
I went 12.9s 2 years ago on a stock d16y7 with a 14b so its not that hard to go 13s or even 14s just depends on your tune and how good you can drive

with the gears and nitrous, i would love to go at least 13.9s and have to wear a helmet…
i should have my shitbucket back together in about a month or so. im shooting for over 400whp so with my shit driving skills and the fact ill probally just be on bfg’s im saying in the mid to low 11’s i would be happy with

Considering i found a slip for a 14.2 on the supra stock everything just exhaust and 14 psi i think, i think low 13 's is a very reasonable goal with the new setup.
shooting for 12.6 on street tires (after a tune)… ( this summer its time to hit the Road course so wont be doing anything to the car for drag racing purposes)
