1.8T vs 3.2?!?!? Help

FAST for me was my cousins stock Rx-8

lol no

quick, but not fast.

its the Fastest car ive been in, ever

bahahahahahaha

slowwwwww, handles well, but slowwwwww

its a lot quicker than my stock 3.8 bonnie…

well yea

oh, and one final comment, dont get me wrong, i cant fucking wait to get rid of this POS and get a real car… just 3 more years and ill have my masters and be less poor, hopefully lol

so any of these cars would suit you well…

make up your mind as to as “fast” as you wanna go… high 14’s… or 12’s… cuz they’re two completely different leagues, and therefore your choices will be two completely different ones.

Take a ride in a 14 second car… then Take a ride in a 12 second car. Then jump back in the 14 second one. Prepare to be disappointed as to how “fast” you thought your first ride was.

meh ultimately my advice is go boost, boost is a wonderful thing…

lol true statement.

So coming this summer, i will need to ride in both. Thanks for all the help guys, i appreicate it greatly

Maybe not an a4 for $8k in the 12s but a 325 def.

I never said my a4 was fast ever, I didnt buy it to race

I never said that driving an A4 makes you instantly classy, although it will get you laid faster than a GTP

oh man do i hate the gtp thing. ugly shitty car, dont buy one. If ur looking for an entry level luxury car def. go for and a4 or a 325/328. If you get a 1.8t and start to mod it, you will end up spending all ur time refreshing ur thread in the “oh crap, i need help like now” thread. especially if u dont know shit about boost. BMW’s and Audi’s are expensive to fix, period. If u wanna build a turbo entry level luxury car, get a nice newer integra with leather. Its a reliable DD and u can make it pretty fast. You can realisticly end up right in the middle of that 12 sec. and 14 sec. mark and look good at the same time. Really though, dont buy a DD then start fucking with the boost and beating on it. In the audi u will fuck up the tranny and/or the awd if u drive the car hard under heavy boost. My friend at home got a gti, put exhaust intake and chip in. He only drives it when he wants to have fun. A month after he got it, he had to do the tranny because its just too weak when u beat on it. And this kid is one of the best drivers i know so i know that it just is not him driving like an idiot. Hes selling it after 2 n half months cause hes bored as shit of it too.(he used to drive a 383(ithink) stoker mustang) anyways, now that i got aff topic im gonna stop typing.

kiss the rings bitch :funny:

the only way it’d die with a chip is by 1-wheel peeling all day long… stock turbo will not kill a manual tranny.

What’s with these threads where people ask for car buying advice on a car they “might” buy a year down the road? I don’t get it.

i know youre joking, but if you need a car to get laid youre a tool

to see what to look for, see a good deal etc

Well, a lot could happen in a year. I am guessing you will probably want something different in a few months. Good luck with whatever you do.
