sell it. the stock bypass valve on the subaru is a tried and true unit tested good to 28-30 psi. no need for one.
correct… the tap/hammer mod for free and u can hold 30psi… WHEEEEE… (note: the stock turbo on the 2.0 is awesome for low end grunt but falls on its face at 4500rpms)
brett what wheels you got for me? you know these need to atleast be refinished im not sure if they are bent or anything. I may change the stock turbo out anyways for one off an sti, that way i know it shall be nice and reliable but with moar power, just do mostly sti parts, idk its gonna be stockish for a while, im gona lower it, get some real nice wheels, and a 3" turbo-back and thats gonna be it for a while, im not gonna start fucking with anything else until i have the money to do all of it, oh and im gonna have a use for that manual boost controller that john gave me haha, Im gettin ahead of myself a little though I havent even looked at one yet, I’ll let ya know what I see today, i love the bugeye headlights tryin to find one under 50k for under $15k

DO NOT PUT ON A MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER WITHOUT BEING TUNED FOR IT!!! the stock boost control system on the wrx is very sensitive. i COMPLETELY bypassed my boost control solenoid because its fucked and had it tuned via the MBC. just listen and learn before bolting on parts… it will save you thousands.
obviously i have to tune it, im gonna throw that on once i have the turbo-back for it since it needs to get tuned either way, plus that means a fun ride through keene valley
as a suggestion… sell the MBC… the stock boost control system is more than sufficient…

god damn this thing is clean if its still around by the time i sell my car I’m gonna contact this person, and a little update, found the small vacuum leak so thats fixed, but my car idles at running temp between 1200 and 1600rpm’s any idea why that would be happening, and another edit i just drove it and now it idles at like 900rpm, i hate cars sometimes i have no idea whats goin on now, and when i just ease the clutch out and go like 9mph it feels a little rough as if i had some more aggressive cams in it or somthing, :ponder :confused
