is it time to change it on a car like urs at that mileage?
yes. the Bentley manual recommends 60k.
My car is 30,000 miles past due for it’s timing belt, and you can bet your ass I’m changing the water pump too when I do it.
im suprised your water pump hasnt failed yet. plastic impellar = junk. my timing belt/wp was done at 28k… i will do it again when/if my car hits 80k.
:ohnoes i gotta do mine, dont i? im near 75k
Umm… I like to procrastinate about things I really shouldn’t.
Mine should have been done at 60k. I’m at 90k now and praying to God it makes it through winter.
do it! some guy just snapped his belt with 79k onit.
buy the kit and make an appointment with AMD IS THE BEST, we’ll get it taken care of
I know, I know.
No time or money right now. Just driving below 3k all the time like a little grandma trying to get more miles. :sad
:thumb
should i get one from ECS?
i would. just get the ultimate with the coolant and all that. no pullies. PM him, im sure hed be up to the task on a day off, and he’d be quite reasonable on pricing.
i’ve got his number, will discuss. thx for the tip
And here I was worrying about my car being 7k over for its timing belt replacement.
knowing your luck, i would worry :lol
Holy effing shit… Shut down the forums!!!
Brett was nice to Vadim lol.
Yeah, I just need the cash to do it. I had the money set over the summer until my other car broke and cost me $1800.
Lia wants $395. Fuccillo wants $425. Ive gotta get it done at a shop to get a receipt to keep the warranty.
its veterans day, im in a good mood right now. i got my newish reeeeiiiiimz, got my old ones sold. its all good.
