My 240 needs a new waterpump and I dont really want to pay a shop to do something so simple and it’s too cold to function outside. I changed the thermostat in my parking lot on saturday and my fingers almost fell off. Needless to say, the thermostat wasn’t the problem lol and I figure it’s most likely the waterpump at this point. I’m at suny albany. If anyone has a shop or anything heated they wouldnt mind me using, I’ll throw you some money to use it and/or help me swap the waterpump. Let me know. That or if anyone knows a shop that will do it for a decent price, I’m game for that too.
Haha yeah it would only take 30 minutes. It’s easy as hell. I think I got it figured out though. There’s just a stubborn bubble trapt in the system and I just noticed a bunch of leaves and crap stuck in front of the radiator.
I’m going to bleed the system a few more times and clean out the engine bay a bit tomorrow. Should be good. Ill keep you guys in mind though since I’m always working on my car in the freezing cold… haha
