I’m going, doing both the sprint races and enduro. I guess last year they did fun runs for a few bucks a lap during lunch. Not sure if they are doing that this year or what.
If someone want’s to ride down Friday afternoon I have room for two people, bring your own tent. Josh (ecoshardcore) may be coming down Saturday and may have some room.
The good:
-I survived
-I learned
-I broke my old track time of 1:23.085 new 1:22:339 (in the cold (lame excuse))
-Finally fulfilled requirements for the license
The bad:
-Open diff on the van, towing uphill on grass, after 153 hrs of rain, in the pitch black
-Setting tire pressures like an idiot
-Rain
-Not putting on tires with 2/32nd of tread on over V710s
-Rain
-A section of tire wall got in my way
-Sleet
-Driving like a n00b
-Snow
-Still driving like a n00b
-Finally realizing what I had been doing wrong with 90% of the weekend behind me
One off included a “river” on the outside of the corusel. It was literally 1000 ft long, 8 ft wide and 1 ft deep. That was just preceded by me facing the wrong direction, looking at traffic coming towards me.
No in car, apparently my camera doesn’t like the ride quality, it has been acting up. It is just one less thing for me to worry about.
Well, the section of tire wall was already damaged. If it was properly stacked I wouldn’t of hit it at all. I was running parallel with the wall and a a section of ~10-20 tires was down.
So I guess I really didn’t damage it too much more. The real damage to the tire wall was when I dragged a tire 1.7 miles.
Oh, did you mean to the car? Hay bails at Dunville do more damage. I hit the same spot on the fron, car jumped up a couple feet and that was it. I was sure something was going to be all twisted up. It’s kinda funny the abuse that I dish out and the car still keeps going.
I need to have the SE-R done for next year, too much money in it for it to be sitting around.
Yeah, my plan is to keep the NX2000 as a rental/back-up.
I’m going to have to update the NX cage to the 2 door bar for 2007. I’m not really looking to make money off of it, just enough to keep reinvesting into equipment.
Perfect, I’ll be in touch about the car, and I can probably help with the cage unless Hybrid will be doing it. Let me know if you need a hand working on either car, my new job gives me a lot of free time (4 days a week off) and now I’m able to afford to race
