Upgraded from 10" rotors to 12" with dual piston calipers. Whole conversion ran me 250 shipped from a buddy over in S. Korea. I haven’t had a chance to beat on them yet, as I am breaking them in still.

nice brakes…especially for $250

wow, definitely an awesome upgrade for the price!

awesome

yea for that price damm!

Thanks for the kind replies.

Everything is OEM, from the rotors to calipers. I had the rotors crossdrilled and redrilled for my 114.3x4 lug size. I still have to paint them and get some stainless steel brake lines for all around.

Looks good. I bet they stop nice.

looks good man

wish it was that ez to do my pee pee

Thats awesome that they are of OEM quality. You car is pretty decent man. Ditch the automatic before you go any further and I think you would enjoy the car a lot more. Its a pain in the ass I’m sure…well harder than big brakes but it will add as much fun to the car as the turbo did. Clean setup.

Those look like 92.5+ dsm front calipers

he put my head into the windshield tonight w/ them…they felt nice  “brake check”

Did you Choke?

Nice disks, F’n unbeleavable price to :bigthumb:

on a side note:
hahahahaha.
chokes on the accel, smashes windshield on decell.

funny fag

did you upgrade your brake master cyl. to a unit that can exert more pressure, because if you didnt then you shouldnt notice much difference at all, but im not assuming you didnt…just asking

Ummm, whaaaa?

Why would the master cylinder need to be able to exert more pressure? Now, depending on the master’s volume and the increased volume of the calipers that may be an issue, but not pressure. The master now needs to fill 2 cylinders not 1 per caliper. But the 2 are probably each smaller than the 1 before. Overall volume in the caliper is probably up though. Keep in mind the brakes pads don’t travel very far though. All in all most brake upgrades of the same type (ie disc to disc) don’t need master cylinder changes. I’m still confused on why he’d need more pressure?

:boink

TJ would be correct.

oh well, i know that the master cylinder in my old 240sx wasnt able to keep up with volume/pressure the 300zx brakes that i installed required. Even with SSlines i was getting a soft pedal untill i installed the proper MC for the brake size ( a 300zx MC) and then poof no more soft pedal, everything was in harmony.
I’m sorry if i dont know your car I’m just speaking from experience, if your MC is up to the job then whatever …rock on, just saying though… I also put my brakes to extreme use so I dont know if your situation is different, a plus to the cooling capacities of larger brakes though gotta love the lack of brake fade
