A bunch of people stopped over this Sat and we got to work! If you guys have any neat pics feel free to put em up. Especially with the fender well and core support out as I didnt take any!
Didn’t get the cold side done like planned but life goes on. Here is the audible of the week though. I planned on doing some weld patch work on maybe the core support and for sure the inner fender. Well the good folks at Camaro Specialties had what I needed in stock so I went with replacements. Man it looks better!
This weeks progress:
IC mounting brackets made/welded. IC hung
Put together a 4" setup from IT to TB
Hot Side ALMOST 100% done. Wastegate tubes made and welded. 3x o2 bungs welded. Only thing remaining are two wastegate dump tubes.
Front subframe bushings replaced with poly
Core support replaced
Pass inner fender replaced/painted

Well after today I am off of work for 8 days, work 1, then off a few more. Basically I should have some free time for wrenching.
Bad news is I don’t have a lot of what I need. Fuel system patrs, tank, pump, etc etc.
BOVs still arent here. Ugh
So I guess we will see what the progress looks like.
I will be wrenching tonight!

Food for thought - I can see the twisting motion of the engine and the non twisting motion of the intercooler leading to stress on that one intercooler pipe.
Keep those clamps tight!
