1969 Camaro LSX/T56 Twin Turbo - 705rwhp

purdy as usual…did you find what the issue was with the rear calipers? just bleed the shit outta them?

Man you have great taste in project cars.

2 turbo z,

They are OK but have been patched and they arent that straight. I edited the post and took out that im replacing them as most would prob think its overkill but I want it to be cleeeeeeeeeeeeean. This paint isn’t perfect and I would prefer a different color anyhow. But I will probably build the nova first so this might sit as is for awhile.

Jay,

Thanks! I LOVE this thing. When I don’t hate it that is…

96,

I swapped the calipers to a new set they sent. That one was shot.

I am putting together the pieces for this to end up a mild 400ish rwhp(prob with spray) ls setup with a T-56 as I miss three pedals.

Nova is getting a stock 6.0L/th350 and boost so it can do wheelstands.

Fu, burnouts, beers and patching walls.

I need to figure out why one side of the rear is higher cause it makes heaters a bitch in this thing. I suspect something is installed wrong from when they did the leafs or maybe a bad subframe bushing. Anyhow it does not stay straight at all while smoking them haha.

Looking good, sir! How much does the front nose over when you hit those big fat brakes? Are you running a front sway bar? If not, that made a Fucillo huge difference on the '55.

In for burnouts and v8 noises

The car has a full hotchkis/koni suspension, swaybars, and just finished it off with the bmr subframes
Between that, the new tires, and brakes this thing is a riot drive hard.

+1

Them wheels look great on there

Thanks!

I love how the look came together.

I heard its fixed! Fucking brakes lol

I know man what a nightmare. Sell me that water pump! Im getting this motor prepped and might start the nova build ahead of schedule now that the camaro is feeling good.

Oh MAN. That looks perfect.

Subframe connectors - probably my favorite upgrade as well!

Let me know if you need a hand pulling this apart this winter.

Cool stuff. I’m looking at a LS/T56 swap in my 69 soon too. At least after we finish the 66 Chevelle.
Hope to see that out soon

Thanks a ton. Hope you don’t mind if I change the color

Not certain if I will get to this over the winter but I will deff need hands on the nova…

How about you do yours first and tell me everything I need to know to do mine?
Let me know of some cruises you will be at. I need to get both cars out of the garage more.

I hope to have the Chevelle on the road next week if all goes well. And the 69 has been blocked in the garage due to some construction at the house. But would be cool to get all 4 together.
As for the LS, that got put on the backburner since the Chevelle is going restomod over the winter to be unveiled at the Buffalo Motorama. So depending on how that goes, I might start the build process.

But there are a lot of sites online that document the swap. It’s been done. Or just buy my 472 big block and 700r4 trans and it’ll drop right in

Not at all.

^ YES!

Exactly!!!
