Its a Canadian car, and I’ve had it for about 16 years. I dont think I was the first owner.
I’ve continuously restored, replaced and upgraded every part on the car every year.
Right now it has a 280zx motor in it (built approx 4 years ago and has about 10,000 miles on it )
Since I always like to update the car, the plan last winter was to turbo it, but thats been delayed because Adam and I are building a drift/time attack car (240sx) this year.
I recently purchased an RB26 motor and if the car doesnt sell “as it is now”, I’ll keep the car and install the RB over the winter.
However, recently Matty advertised that he has a “roller” GTR for sale, and since I have a motor to put in it, seems like a good project.
My son thinks I’m nuts for selling the zcar, but hey, I think its time for a change.
Do you drive this car in the winter as well? From the pics it seems like this car was winter driven. Is there anything else wrong with the car? Does it come safety? If not what does it need to have it certified?
No its not been driven in the winter. We all stored our cars ( 9 in total) in a barn last winter and it seemed to be pretty damp in there.
All the cars showed surface rust on exposed parts this spring. Really pissed us off. Wont go there again.
Nothing wrong with the car. Shouldnt need anything to certify. Wasnt going to come with a safety, but I can provide it for the buyer. Depends on the final deal made.
