For about fifteen years now I have been driving by this 2 door box chevy and leaving notes on it asking if its for sale (when i was 16 I talked to him and he was asking $4000 for it) About a month ago i got a call from the owner saying that he was sick of me leaving notes on it and that he was ready to get rid of it…I told him I could pick it up that Saturday. 2 days later my friend called me saying that a guy with a jeep wrangler ( you read that right) and a tow dolly was about to pull away with the car… I drove over and discovered that he had just made a deal to scrap the car… I slapped the owner in the head with $400 and forced the scrapper to drop it at my house ($40) The scrapper was pissed that i cut his deal and when the car showed up at my house the windshield was smashed taillights smashed out and a huge gash down the passanger side quarter…Also he took the steering wheel because he was that good of a guy.

Here she is…Been getting pretty nasty for 15 years under a tarp
I gotta fully wrapped frame in 3/16s front to back with a 1/4" bridge in back i’d let go REAL cheap. Like less than what you’d have in metal. I scrapped my project coupe and kept the frame hoping someone could use it. Save yourself some $$ and trouble. I also have the smaller spindles for running 13s on stock brakes with no shaving, and I have a set of wrapped and extended 3/4" upper a-arms… pm me.
These will be drilled out for a half inch bolt to slide through them and welded to the frame ( after i pull body and plate this section ) Smaller box that slides inside these will be welded to the rack itself
Narrowing down date for paint (which is deffinetly motivating) and discussing other custom paint details! Also pulled the front clip and started to unbolt the body last night…
This was painted (IN CALI) by the guy shooting this car
(THIS BIKE IS A LOCAL BIKE)
Its wrapped all four sides…we left some of the original pinch joints and drips to keep it classy…There is no real reason to plate anything forward of where we did except to say you plated it all…Also we didnt want it to look like a big pile of metal…the spring perches were cut off shortend and welded back on after the plating…no molding or smoothing just plated and powdercoated. Its squeezed into a single bay garage waiting on me to make room ( finish my projects )
Not the best pic of it but you can see what was done
