Its not a huge deal on most cars… However on turbo’d cars you have the additional expense of replacing the turbo at around that mileage if the car wasnt cared for. Even without a turbo your still looking to do belts and headgaskets if the car wasnt properly maintained.

87 Supras have an inline six (7M-GE is the non turbo one I think), not a V6.
Blown head gasket is a common problem on the blown MK III (86.5 to 93) body style Supras, not so sure on the N/A versions.
