I got the car last sinday with a blown turbo and like 3 boost leaks.
the first thing me and burny d did when we pulled in my garage we pulled the stock filter and piping inly to see that the turbo has terrible shaft play.when you turned the car off and watched the wheel as it came to a stop it would turn and go up and down at the same time.the fins also scored the housing a little.
Today me and burnyd finished taking the turbo off.plans are to get another ct26 (anyone selling one?) and bolt that up along with some hard charge pipes for now just so the car is driveable.the car also came with an apexi type r electronic boost controler that im probably gonna sell.
i miss the porno maroon interior. but i suggest you invest in a head gasket. preferably hks 2.0mm steel stopper head gasket. amazing investment on the
7-mgte. they go through head gaskets like a mudda freaka.
ok the beast is runnig!there was smoke coming around teh turbo so i got an exhaust leak or something…it was smoking out the exhaust to but only at first.took it for a spin and it boosted!not sure how many pounds yet i don’t think my boost gauge is working but i did hear the bov and so did my mom from my house lol!i know i still got boost leaks i’m waiting for teh tbody coupler since mine is ripped and i duct taped a cold pipe up cause i lost the clamp lol.also i think its leaking around teh bov.
so tomorow im getting a new clamp and making my self a boost leak tester and we’ll see where it goes.

The smoking around the turbo was just a puddle of wd40 burning off.the turbo smoke a little on cold start up but it boosts fine so i dont mind for now…there is an exhaust leak staright after the cat that is annoying the piss outta me and i’m taking care of it soon…the car is hopefully gonna be insured/registered by the end of this up coming week…
