1989 240sx Ka24e-t Will Not idle(with/without turbo) SEARCH

For everyone who see’s my name in this section, It is my friend bradon, all the questions about his hicas and abs… I keep telling him to make a name lol. SO! anyway, I Have a pretty big problem on my hands. I turbo’d my ka24e and ya its the one with 403 ft’s of torque and 121 horse Etc. so on and so forth lol. Anyway, I Drove my car PERFECTLZY into the garage the other to swtich my maf around a little bit to put the maf into the intercooler. It didnt run when i was done ( it would start for 1-2 seconds then die). so i thought ok it wond measure the air cuz theres barly any flow and more preassure. so i decided to move it back before the turbo. when i was done It still would run for like 1-2 seconds and die. and it has for like a week. Iv tryed everything.
some things it does:
You can keep it alive with your foot.
It will run without any intake stuff hooked up (maf or pipes) and the idle air out in the atmosphere.
BUT some times it will only run BARLY this way.
If I NA it it will kind of run. but it will run and it will get better and run OK until you give it alittle gas. It is not in limp mode. Code 55 No malfunction.
I had a Maf Code being thrown But Its cuz If you take off the maf it will run SOME TIMES!
more not then running.
When I change ecus, it does still not run right. (same symptom as above)
Still throwing no other codes. Code 55.
The tps will not make a difference. (unpluged or otherwise.)
All the non used vacum lines are plugged (double and triple checked Lines)
Timing Remains Stock.
You can kind of hear the pump in the tank.
Iv not done a compression test yet.( tommorow)

SO!!! Its a stumper lol if anyone has a clue as to what it would be It would help alot omg!

Not to be a busy bee but I kind of need replys as fast as i can cuz my drifter is leasving my place to go to my other garage for 3 weeks for tuning. I bought my safc II and wide band and my injectors and pretty much my whole fuel system. and it should all be here within the month. and it all needs to go in as soon as i get it. so the car needs to be running!!! lol hahaha ok guys thanks. I’d really appreciate any help or advice or ANYTHING cuz iv spent countless hours searching for some what of the same problem and cant find anything lol. So Thanks agian for any help! :smiley:

Check your MAF wiring. Maybe you screwed it up when moving MAF around. Also try swapping another MAF in. Those things can be a bit delicate, so never know what mighta been done to it. Check MAF voltages to see if ECU is gettin a signal.

Thanks for the advice Chris :smiley: but, I have change mafs from my other car. and resotered where i had the maf cut already… how do i check the volts tho?

Well i guess just do the standard fuel and spark check and go from there.

did you take ur motor apart at all lately?
do a boost leak test i might have a leak somewhere.
whats ur a/f readings? It sounds that your motor dumps alot of fuel possibly at idle.

I think it is your maf. Some thing has a happened with both my sr and my ca.
