Yep. Tomorrow I’m going to start putting things together. I need to track down a TSRM for this car, since I can’t keeping running in the house every time I need to look at something.

Gorgeous stuff man. Let me know when it’s going in, too. I may not know enough to help but I’d sure like to watch XD

I’m not wasting my $ on a laptop. I can barely put gas in my car right now.

Looks great dude, definitely gonna check back into this thread every once in a while!
why don’t you get hold of gravesdu_99 if you need info or a tsrm, we just got done with his 1jz and are tuning the stinger standalone. let him or me know if you need an help. looks great though! keep it up!
Yeah I remember now. You still looking for the tsrm or what. Are you looking for an online one or just a regular book one.
^ he will want the book, his computer is in his house. thus he don’t want to keep running back and forth
That’s right
WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN? JESUS…don’t be a stranger, neighbor…lol
I have a repair manual!
I can lend it to you
Working damn it 8-8 3-4 days a week or 9-6
you drive by my damn work!!!
Yes, yes I do. But your WORKING when I do. LOL
Which year do you have? I might have to take you up on that offer.
It covers the 1979-1992 if thats what your asking.
Its’ got sections for mark II and III(3 being the one you’d want)
It’s a haynes book.
OH. Thanks for your offer…but I’m really looking for a TSRM (Toyota Service Repair Manual). I don’t trust Haynes any further then I can spit, in terms of 80’s Import coverage. I’ve looked through Haynes books before, looking for Conquest/Starion specifics, and I saw too many false statements/specs.
Print out the pages that you need.
Okay. It’s been a while since I’ve updated this. Here’s the deal. I decided that the resurfacing job that Napa had done on my block was less then satisfactory. The RA value just wasn’t low enough for the head gasket I was going with. So, I took it to my good friend’s machine shop, in Youngstown, OH over a weekend, had it redone, and it looks much better. I had him redeck the block. Napa didn’t deck the block flat enough, so we set that straight. After discovering/repairing that, we resurfaced it with a final RA value of 20, installed new softplugs, new oilpump driveshaft bearings, rehoned the cylinders, and he re-cleaned the block, because Napa sucks at that too, and quite possibly life in general. When Randy was finished, the block looked AMAZING. This is what it looks like right now, on the engine stand. I just need to buy a new Timing Belt and Water Pump…and the longblock should be complete!
